What people use it for

The things you send yourself on Telegram, findable.

Telegram is where things land: a link somebody sent, a screenshot of a listing, a note you typed to yourself at midnight. Saved Messages holds all of it and finds none of it. Three months later you are scrolling by thumb, looking for a flat you remember only as "the three-storey house in Fethiye". The chat did its job. Nothing was built to give it back.

01

Forward it to the bot

Connect your Telegram once (a one-time code, no password) and the Norget bot becomes a place to forward things. A link, a screenshot, a plain sentence: each one lands in your archive within a couple of minutes.

02

Your words survive

Whatever you wrote when you forwarded it stays on the card, shown above anything generated. If you wrote "fethiyede 3 katlı ev, gelecek sene bakarız" (that Fethiye house from above, in your own Turkish) that is exactly what you will see. Machine text is marked as machine text and never replaces yours.

03

Screenshots get read

A screenshot of a listing, a menu, a tweet: the text in the image is extracted and indexed, so "the pricing table I screenshotted" is findable by what it said, not by the day you sent it.

04

Ask in your own words

Later you ask the archive the way you would ask a person: "what was that house listing from Fethiye?" The answer quotes the saves it came from, with links back to each one.

What this does not do

Honest limits: the bot saves what you forward it. It does not read your chats, cannot see anything you did not send it, and there is no automatic sync of Saved Messages. Voice notes and videos are not supported yet; the bot says so, politely, the moment you try. The free plan holds 100 saved items and 50 questions a month; past that it is $6 a month.

Questions

Does the bot see my Telegram messages?
No. It is a standard Telegram bot: it receives only what you forward or type to it directly. It has no access to your other chats, your contacts, or your Saved Messages, and could not read them if we wanted it to, because Telegram does not give bots that access.
What happens to a screenshot I forward?
It is stored in your account, and the text inside it is extracted and indexed. The words in the screenshot are what you search and what answers quote. Viewing the original image back inside the app is not built yet; the file is kept, but today its text is what you get.
Can I get everything back out?
Yes: Settings exports your whole archive as JSON at any time, including the archived text. Disconnecting the bot takes one tap and stops anything further from arriving.
