Readwise Reader is the most complete read-it-later tool on the market and this page will not pretend otherwise. It handles EPUBs, PDFs, RSS, newsletters and YouTube transcripts, and its highlights sync into Obsidian, Notion and Logseq. It also costs $9.99 a month billed annually — $119.88 up front — and has no free tier, only a trial. Norget does less, costs $6 a month, and lets you use it properly for free first.
When not to pick us
Pick Readwise Reader if you read EPUBs and PDFs, live in RSS and newsletters, or want highlights flowing into Obsidian or Notion. It does all of that and we do none of it.

Is Norget just a cheaper Readwise?
No, and it would be a bad deal if it were. Readwise Reader is a reading environment with a large library of formats and integrations. Norget is narrower: it archives what you save and answers questions about it with the sources attached. If your problem is "I read a lot and want it organised", Readwise is the better tool. If your problem is "I saved something months ago and cannot find it", that is the one we built for.
Does Norget sync X bookmarks like Readwise?
Through the browser extension, yes, and without the API cap. Readwise uses X’s official bookmarks endpoint, which the platform limits to around 800 items. Our extension reads the bookmarks page in your own logged-in session, so it can bring across the full history and captures the post text rather than only the link. The trade is that it runs when you open the page, rather than in the background.
